A Big Sister who helped raise their younger brother and sister

(who were perfect angels, of course!).

A Big Sister who saved her little sisters life a few times; once when she was jumping on the bed and her neck got caught in the curtain string, another time when she told everyone she could swim and a big kid pushed her into the pool and she sank to the bottom and I'm sure there is more but I think sharing those is enough!

A big Sister who loved sharing a room for a few years with her little sister who was 5 years younger whom wasn't so neat. (WOW, you are a super hero!).

A big Sister who never complains about having MS and appreciates each and everyday!

Ethan 8 years old

1. You can't get enough of Transformers. You saw the movie with Daddy which was 2 hours and 40 minutes. You went without a bathroom break after drinking a big lemonade, you couldn't miss a second.

2. You love riding your bike and have been practicing doing pop-a-wheelies.

3. Reading you enjoy. You recently read "Who was Mark Twain" and enjoyed it very much, you are now reading "Who was JFK". You enjoy anything to do with History.

4. Legos, Legos. Legos. You love putting legos together and playing with them. You look at the catalogs so much there falling apart.

5. Your favorite cereal is anything with cinnamon.5. Some of your favorite foods and snacks are: 6. Chicken burgers, hot spicy buffalo wing nibbles, Goldfish, Hummus with Crackers and type of junk food.

7. You've discovered that you absolutely love Rootbeer and Orange soda but are only aloud to have it on a special occasion which makes you feel deprived.

8. Unlike most 8 year old boys you like to watch the shows "Cash in the Attic" and "If Walls Could Talk" on HG TV, I guess it's because you like old things like your Pa Pa.

A Sunny Day at Swan Lake

On Sunday we headed to the Swan Lake since it was the first Sunny Day we've had in a week. We had lots of Fun soaking up the sun and the kids loved being in the water. Audrey only got out to eat. Eric played lots of football in the water with the kids. Audrey would laugh her head off every time Eric would catch the ball and go under the water. What a silly guy! After a few hours at the lake we took a ride down RT1 before coming home.

Anytime is Dessert Time.......

Oh....How Ethan loves his dessert. Warm cookies and cream. He was nice enough to share a cookie with his Daddy.

Audrey usually goes for anything with Berries but this time it was Toll House Pie. Yum!

What I'd really like to know is why kids always have room for dessert and can usually finish it but when it comes to eating a full meal, it's not so easy?!??!?

1. Eggs_____ and Cheese_____ make a quick and easy dinner.

2. Slowly but surely,"Animal, Vegetable and Miracle" and American Girl Books to my daughter_____ are the books I'm reading right now.

3. July brings back memories of _____Hot and Humid Days (If you live on the East Coast, you understand)

4. Not texting while your working and waiting on a customer_____ was obvious. (This happened to me on my travels, the girl was texting as she slowly approached the counter to ask if she could help me....what's happening that you can't go without telling someone what your doing all the time?!?!??!)

5. They say if you tell your dreams _____they won't happen and I don't take the chance of keeping it to myself if it's bad.

6. Before buying anything that's not a necessity, take the time_____ to think it over.

7. And as for the weekend, tonight I'm looking forward to _____a busy day at work to make the time pass, tomorrow my plans include _____cleaning, kids and work and Sunday, I want to _____have a hot and sunny day to do something fun, like go to the lake.

Girls + Horses = Smiles

Lots and Lots of smiles from Audrey after her first Horseback riding lesson today. She was quiet(as she always is when meeting someone new) but the smiles she couldn't hold back. She loved it! The horse that she will be riding is a 30 year old Morgan horse named Heidi. Heidi is great, she's was calm and gentle. Back for another lesson next week.

4th of July Celebration

My Mother "Diantha" was born on the Fourth of July, so every year we travel to New York to celebrate with her. My sister and her family and my brother and his family come too. It's lots of fun having all of us together.
